Michael Job with some of the girls

Dr. P. P. Job is a remarkable man who has led a remarkable life. He is often referred to as the Billy Graham of India, whilst the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, UK nominated Dr. Job as ‘International Man of the Year’ for 2000 – 2001. Dr. Job has worked as an evangelist since 1963, working especially amongst the persecuted church in the Communist world.

Dr. P. P. Job was the President of International Christian Association - the worldwide Christian Mission amongst the persecuted believers founded by Rev. Richard Wurmbrand. He worked actively in this organization for 33 years.

Dr. Job is the first missionary from India to evangelize different countries spanning the five continents of the world. He has toured 129 nations many times over, spreading the Word of God –preaching often in areas that could have cost him his life. These preachings sometimes lasted for days on end, drawing crowds of 200 and 500 thousand people in Chennai and Bombay respectively, whilst his books: "With a dynamic Man of God", "Fifth Gospel", "Why God Why?" and "Turn Your Sorrow" have been read by many people worldwide.

Dr. Job is the managing director of Sabina Printing Press, the largest Christian printing press in India, which publishes over 3 million pieces of Christian literature every year in 37 languages for distribution worldwide.

Dr. Job has fought many battles in his life but the loss of both of his sons, John and Michael, because they were preachers of God's word, has been his toughest battle by far.
Out of great grief has come abundant joy with the orphanage that has been started in Michael's name. Dr. Job now has around five hundred girls.

These Children receive an excellent education, housing and food and most importantly they receive a new lease of life, hope and a future. Some of these children could grow to become leaders of India.

Adequately, a leading English daily of India, the Indian Express described Dr. Job as a ray of hope in a world growing darker with shrouds of hatred and strife. Doug Kooy, a media personality and a man who has travelled the world stated, “This is a modern day miracle, Dr. Job has created a place where tragedy has turned into joy. A place where young children can experience love in action and this is evident by the smiles on the faces and the joy in the hearts of the children. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life to meet the children that Dr. Job has adopted into his family, they are the future of India".
